Episode 75: Food

Music from food-based games and food-themed levels is the focus of Episode 75.  Brent shares a couple stories about his time as a pizza delivery boy in Hollywood in the late 90's and Rob reveals a more sensitive, emotional, and healthy side to himself.  Brent also eats Rob's donut.  Pizza, donuts, candy, and more on this gastronomic edition of The Legacy Music Hour.  Bon appetit!  Full track listing below.

  2. I'm surprised Yo! Noid didn't make it into the show. I <3 Panic Restaurant so much though, glad more than one track made it in.

The Yuma Penguin track was great, it reminded me of Rollergames. I just downloaded the soundtrack. I'm excited to listen to that when I finish the episode.

    1. As I recall, Yo! Noid isn't really about food (even though it uses the Domino's Pizza spokesperson) similar to the Mc Donald's games, which use the Mc Donald's characters even though the games and levels aren't really food themed.

  3. Guys...Please at least listen to Konami Hyper Soccer before the sports episode. It's soooooo good. And of course Rollergames. Seriously, they're amazing soundtracks.

  4. Hey guys, thanks a lot for mentioning my youtube channel and blog!
I really like your show and find myself eagerly awaiting future episodes. :)

Stage 1 from Panic Restaurant is very cool, love the tight drum beat at the beginning.

If you're looking for more wrestling-specific content, Toukon Club is a Famicom game with some pretty good music: http://youtu.be/7d1xMLbDF_k

    1. I found Toukon Club while researching wrestling games. It is TIGHT! If we end up doing a wrestling episode, definitely look for a track or two from this game.

  5. Lotty is the alias of the female composer, Haruyo Oguro.

I found this out from Masaru Setsumaru.

  6. The Zool "Candyland" Track -- the beginning totally sounds like "Overkill" by Overkill!

  7. Hey guys I left a voicemail for you guys a few days ago, don't know if you listened to it or not yet. Anyways I mentioned the idea of an episode where you guys do all video game tracks that you DON'T like. I think it'd be funny to hear what you guys come up with. I also wanted to mention I was listening to your Food episode tonight and it was hilarious bc you guys started talking about Delivery Dr
ivers and how Brent used to be one. What made it so funny is Rob asked Brent if he listened to video game music while delivery driving in the past and what made this so ironic is that I ALWAYS listen to your podcast when I work! Bc I'm a delivery driver for Domino's!!! As I said in the voicemail, I've been listening to your podcast religiously and I forgot to mention in it that I listen to it when I work all the time. Anyways get back to me when you can. Thanks!!!
