  1. No need to take apart a genesis to play mega drive games, pick up a game genie instead.

    1. Here you go Rob: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=reMvj-RWqhQ&feature=share&list=PLBC8AAC111FBA322E.

I currently own a Japanese model 1 Mega Drive, but back in the day, this is how I played my Japanese copy of Out Run on the Genesis.

  3. I think the Tokimeki Memorial is my favorite of this episode even though you guys seemed a little luke warm about it.

Also, I don't know if either of you have picked out a track from any of the Wizards & Warriors games but there's a few notable songs in the series; especially in the second game:

    1. Nah, nah, we weren't luke warm about it. In fact, there will never be a single track played on the podcast that both of us are luke warm about. For every track we play, at least one of us thinks it's good or above.

    2. And by the way, "easy listening" or "elevator" are not bad things for us. And actually, elevator is a good thing.

    3. I think it was more your tone that made me think you guys were luke warm on the track, but anyway, yeah, it was a good one.

  4. Fire N Ice? That's an impressive holiday request. I'll sell you mine, but it won't be worth it. I need guitar amp money, so after the first of the year I'll be selling all of my rare NES games.

Mouryou Senki Madara is one of the best soundtracks of all time, easily. Thank you for introducing me to it waaaay back in episode 9.

That part of Sword World that's in 10/8 or whatever that time signature is...is totally skitchin.

The one with the man and the woman talking sounds to me like a dad expaining why homework is better than the mall, and his teenage daughter then respectfully diagreeing. Followed by a track about...the mall. There's a concept album here.

Gun Nac! Another one of my favorites!

  5. I think it would be cool to do something a bit more with the poll results. Like, you could use the winner of the poll as the outro music that week - since it's so good, you get to hear it twice! That would mean one fewer track you could play to the theme, but it could be cool!
