Episode 130: Free Play 13

Another free play to celebrate 130 episodes.  Brent and Rob play a lot of "feel good" tracks as well as some relaxing ones, but more importantly, they share a lot of love with each other, for the music, and with you, the listeners.  They also do fairly poor impressions of Mr. T.  Full track listing below.

  1. Very chill episode with a lot of positive vibes!

Getting a little sad because I've been listening to back episodes and I've almost listened to every one now, good thing this week is a pick up.

    Hey, first time commenting.

I found something interesting in that the Light Crusader track sounds remarkably close to a song by the band Genesis. The song is called Silent Sorrow in Empty Boats, and I've put a youtube link for anyone curious.

  3. The Credits music from Tantei Jinguuji Saburo: Toki no Sugiyuku Mama ni has become one of my favorite chiptune tracks over the years. Rarely do you hear such good jazz in a Famicom track. So good!

  4. Rob cut my hair a couple months back and turned me onto the podcast. Love the show, guys. A lot of really great deep cuts. I've been listening to all the back episodes and I wanted to leave a comment. I believe the composer for Timeball is Masakatsu Maekawa, who did Final Soldier and some other games for the PCE. Peace.
