  1. Happy New Year to all the LMH boizz!

Glad to hear Brent has straight up gotten over his cold, almost - no doubt it was from all his Undertale beating ;) Either way, yet another fine/feen episode, especially with the Double Cobras joining the Double Dragons for a triple Weinbach/triple adjective/ triple ending situation. Loved the Viewpoint and Gley Lancer tracks especially - fans of the former might be curious to check out the Sharp X68000 and Neo Geo/Arcade versions too. Un Cailou Ricochet is my jam.

Right, now I'm off to watch Raúl Juliá's performance in Taming of the Shrew and check out Gabe Castro's soundtrack for The Forest. Cue the ending/credits/staff roll...

  3. Good call on the Ordyne track/"Army Dreamers" comparison, Brent.

  4. Great episode! The Dubra Dragon Boiz were in full form today.
I don't know if you've seen that the ROM of Sim City for the NES has been released. Soyo Oka (Pilotwings and Mario Kart) did the soundtrack which you can hear here:

I also have to say that the Ordyne track absolutely sounds like Army Dreamers. Time to get my Kate Bush CD's out again...

Finally, I'm definitely on board for more beyond 16 bit episodes. Maybe you can play something from Polyball. It has a great soundtrack by a brilliant composer. For some reason his name slips my mind at the moment :) Cabe Gastro or something like that.

  5. I still don't know if you guys allow Virtual Boy games (it's not a CD at least!). If so, Teleroboxer's Staff Roll is one of my all-time favorite tracks. The whole song feels like trading off of solos and different sections, sort of like the Time Cruise track. Definitely worth a listen!

  6. Whoa Brent, you finally played Undertale! I always wanted to recommend it to you based on the Mother/Earthbound influence and the amazing music but thought that tons of people would have already, really excited to see what you pick from it in the upcoming beyond episode. Hope you also play Mother 3 some day, it's an amazing game that Nintendo will probably never officially release here but the fan translation team did a great job localizing it. anyway, time to listen to some chams.

    1. OH, and make sure you play Deltarune, it's like chapter 1 of Toby Fox's new game that's a sequel/prequel/alt universe/loosely related game, its music is amazingly good and you can see his improvement from Undertale.

It's free and the OST is online as well.
